Peter Hawkins - Recording voices for The Family NessPeter Hawkins

For most people, Peter Hawkins won't be a name you'd recognise, but after the bloke who does the gravely voices for cinema trailers he has probably the most notable voice in the industry! Peter was the voices for the original 1950's Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men, and also created their "flob-a-dob" language. He went on to do all the voices for Captain Pugwash as well as Zippy in Rainbow. Although there were many names that played the voices of Darleks and Cybermen in Dr Who, Peter must surely rate as one of the most important. Later he narrated SuperTed, The Adventures of Spot and also performed voices for Peter Maddock's other production's - Penny Crayon (Dennis) and Jimbo and the Jetset.
